Raymond
Raymond smoked for 37 years and tried quitting several times. Raymond's doctor advised him to quit and referred him to 1-800-NO BUTTS. Raymond took his doctor's advice seriously and called the Helpline.
With assistance from the Helpline, Raymond has been able to stay a nonsmoker since June 2008. "I really don't think I would have quit smoking without you guys," says Raymond. "My counselor was very supportive and encouraging, and Helpline services are great."
He also has a few words of advice for other smokers: "Keep on trying to quit smoking and never give up! You will become a nonsmoker."
